About the Company

EPRT is a rapidly growing single tenant net lease publicly traded REIT based in Princeton, NJ. The Company was formed in April 2016 and currently manages over $3.0 billion in single tenant net lease investments. EPRT is staffed with a well-capitalized, seasoned investment team that is seeking to grow.

Position Summary

The Lease Administrator will work closely with the Director of Asset Management and the Senior Vice President of Asset Management to monitor leasing activity within the portfolio. This includes monitoring and recording lease amendments or modifications, tenant correspondence, document retention and other critical lease duties. The candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, ability to navigate lease documents and manage multiple projects.

Essential Job Functions

  • Upload lease abstracts into Yardi and notify the Asset Management team of critical dates; including, renewal options and rental escalations
  • Prepare tenant correspondence including introductory tenant notices, legal notices, rental increases and invoices
  • Work with the Servicing department to assure property taxes are current and insurance certificates comply with the lease document
  • Ensure ACH documentation is complete and accurate
  • Maintain both hard and soft copy files
  • Sort and deliver incoming correspondence from counties and tenants to the appropriate department
  • Support the Director of Asset Management through dispositions by providing key diligence items to third party buyers or brokers

Competenices

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant lease experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or significant experience in commercial real estate required
  • Combination of education, training, experience, skills and other characteristics that would provide the requisite knowledge and abilities in support of the essential job functions
  • Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Access and preferably YARDI experience
  • Perform a variety of duties within established time frames, demonstrating flexibility and ability to change from one task to another as circumstances dictate
  • Solid organizational and administrative skills, including performing duties with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
  • Work relatively independently and identify potentially more effective methods of work operation
  • Sound analytical and critical thinking abilities upon which more highly tuned skills could be developed with additional time and experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), ability to be supervised and take direction, while working independently and taking the initiative to seek guidance as appropriate
